Purchasing

The mission of Purchasing Services is to respond to District needs through timely procurement of the highest quality equipment, materials, supplies and services in the required quantity, at the best prices, and from the most reliable sources.

Purchasing Services is committed to its fiduciary duty of committing tax payer dollars by constantly striving for improvement in purchasing methods for the materials, products and services purchased, and seeking to obtain the maximum benefit and value for each tax dollar expended in accordance with District policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Vendor Registration

San Bernardino City Unified School District Purchasing Department has contracted with OpenGov Procurement (formerly ProcureNow) to provide a web base process for submitting bids. All vendors must register with OpenGov Procurement (formerly ProcureNow) in order to receive bid solicitations. All proposal responses must be submitted electronically in accordance with all Notices Inviting Bids.
