Partners in Education
The San Bernardino Partners in Education, also known as PIE, was formed to help children suceed as global citizens.

Purpose:

                    "The purpose of San Bernardino Partners in Education is to bring San Bernardino community
                     non-profits and agencies together to combine resources, avoid duplication of efforts, and effectively
                     support student success."

Strategic Initiatives:

1. Develop referrals and linkages between agencies by establishing an e-mail list serve and webpage link on the
     SBCUSD website.
2. Support the Education Summit (Cope/Blu/ICUC)—March 17, 2012.
3. Support theCollege/Career Readiness Program.
4. Support the Adopt-a-School Program(In progress).
5. Support the Volunteer Program/Training Academy/Parent Involvement Information Center (PIRC) through
     the Family Resource Center.
6. Support the Teacher Effectiveness Program sponsored by COPE and Education Trust-West.
7. Support the CaSA School Grant Program(Awards in August)
8. Develop strategies to increase donationsto organizations that support district students.
