Welcome to the 2013-2014 School Year!
Principal's Message

At Shandin Hills we have the motto of “Excellence Achieved Here” and it is the goal of all of our wonderful and caring staff members to help your student achieve such excellence.  Here at Shandin, teachers work together to engage students in a rigorous curriculum. We believe that all our students can learn and we have a flexible schedule that includes daily double blocks of reading and math, as well as double blocks of social studies, science, electives and physical education every other day. In addition, we have tutorials that enhance the curriculum experience. We follow the Positive Behavior System and our three overarching rules are “Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible". To support this system, we have an Advisory Period where teachers mentor students to help them be successful in middle school.

Ultimately, we want to help our students grow academically and socially,  we want them to be successful and ready for high school, and most importantly, we want them to develop into responsible and productive citizens.
