Pacific High School Career Day is April 11th! We will be having speakers in each classroom to share their knowledge with a job fair at lunch for students to talk to any speaker.
Hey seniors-class of 2014-Got cap and gowns? You may order cap and gowns on-line at 4LGrad.com or at the Herff Jones trailer on Thursday nights in Colton through March 8th. No orders will be taken between March 8th and delivery day on April 8th. . The price until March 8th is $42.00. On delivery day and after it will be $65.00.
Students! There are only 120 yearbooks left for the 2014 school year. Get your deposit in to the bookkeeper as soon as possible so you don't miss out! Don't be disappointed in May seniors when they are sold out!
Attention Seniors-Senior picnic tickets are sold out. If you put a deposit on your ticket, it must be paid in full no later than Monday, March 3. Yes March 3-there is a waiting list and I will sell your ticket if it isn’t paid in full by Monday. All permission slips are due by Monday as well. See Ms. Miller in J-5 for questions or concerns.
If you’d like to go to college, but are stressed about the cost, check out a Cal Grant. It’s your ticket to getting up to twelve thousand bucks a year. Get free cash for college-apply for a Cal Grant. If you’re a high school senior with a 2.0 GPA or higher and meet a few financial requirements, and you are eligible, the money is yours. Get ready now to submit the FAFSA and Cal Grant GPA Verification form by March 2nd. Come to the Career Center to find out how.
SENIORS – Crafton Hills College is having their Senior Day on Friday, March 7th. If you are interested in attending (the cost is FREE), please see Mrs. Lindsay in the Career Center for your information packet. There will be workshops on career-technical programs like Child Development, Business and Computer Information Systems, Fire Technology and Emergency Medical Services and Respiratory Therapy. You are not registered for the trip until you return your completed forms and there are limited spots.
Attention juniors who are interested in a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Harvey Mudd College in Claremont is hosting its annual Spring Future Achievers in Science & Technology program on March 31, 2014. You have to apply to the program by March 3rd. Come to the Career Center or see your math or science teacher for more information.
