Dear Students, Parents, and/or Guardians:
It is a pleasure to welcome you to Cajon High School, home of the Cowboys. Cajon’s staff is committed to the development of a community of learners who are academically proficient, effective communicators, and responsible citizens. With your help, we can achieve this mission.
Cajon High School’s rigorous curriculum is the foundation that will prepare all of our students for future endeavors. To do this, we offer a variety of academic programs, such as International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), and a strong College Preparatory Program. Ninth and tenth grade students are teamed with teachers who share a common conference to support you.
We also provide after-school tutoring along with support classes that are all designed to meet the needs of every Cajon student.
Our administrators, program specialists, teachers, counseling staff, career center personnel, along with the Coordination of Services Team are here to meet your needs and support you and your students.
Another resource we have available to everyone is the weekly grade reports that are available through our Parent Resource Center, in room C-36. Take advantage of this opportunity to know how your student is doing in terms of grades, attendance, and behavior each week.
In addition to academics, we offer extracurricular programs, including music, athletics, and various clubs, as well as academic teams.
Students - get involved in your school! Not only will this look good on your college applications and resumes it will also make you a well-rounded person. Being connected to school makes it more likely that you will care about your education now and in the future.
Again, welcome to Cajon High School. We look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
Toni L. Miller
