Prior to my teaching career I was a bookkeeper for an accountant in downtown San Bernardino for 22 years.  I started teaching at Cole Elementary as their High Point teacher.  I loved it and knew that teaching was the career for me.  This is my second year at Kendall and I enjoy working with the staff, parents, and students.  Teaching first grade has been an adventure and learning experience for me.  I look forward to each day and what it might bring.
 
Fun Facts:
1.  My kids are my two dogs and cat.  (Dogs are named Niki and Lacy.  Cat is named Charlie.)
2.  I had always dreamed of playing volleyball in the Olympics.
3.  My favorite foods are spaghetti, salsa/chips, and corn.  Not at the same time.
4.  I was born in Iowa so I am a farmers granddaughter and love flat land.
5.  I have three brothers.
