Dear Parents/Guardians:

It is with great pleasure to  introduce myself as Vermont’s new Principal. I am very excited to join the Vermont family and I look forward to meeting my  students, my staff, you the parents and the community. I was a teacher  for eight years in the San Bernardino City School District. I have taught in a Bilingual Education classroom, a Dual  Immersion classroom, and a Mainstream classroom in grades one and in grade four.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, a Master’s degree in education and a   master’s degree in administration. I served in many school site and district educational committees that prepared me well for my job as Principal and instructional  leader. Please be assured that the Vermont  Elementary staff and administration are  committed in  ensuring a strong academic focus and having high expectations for our students and for ourselves as educators.  We are  dedicated in continuing to  provide a safe and healthy learning environment for your child/children. In order to ensure the success of your child’s education, we must develop a strong partnership between the home and the school. Therefore, please make sure to continually read any school material sent home with your child.
